DiGiCo’s Little Blue Box allows users to share a DiGiCo D-Rack between a console with a CAT5 rack connection and up to 2 MADI based consoles.
The SD9 / MADI switch allows you to select which console is the main console controlling the gains and the outputs; in SD9 mode the CAT5 connected console is in control, and in MADI mode the MADI connected console controls the gains and the D-Rack outputs. The secondary console in each setup acts as a receive only console, receiving the inputs from the rack as a split, with the option of using DiGiCo’s Gain Tracking system.
The Console Rx. Auxiliary output provides an additional MADI split output which can be connected to any MADI console or even straight to a MADI Multitrack recording computer via a DiGiCo UBMADI or DiGiGrid MGB.
The Little Blue Box is powered via USB, with a second USB port acting as a thru.
DiGiCo’s Little Red Box allows users to share a DiGiCo D-Rack between 2 DiGiCo consoles that support our CAT5 rack connection.
The D-Rack only has a single CAT5 console connection, with no built-in way of sharing the rack. The Little Red Box, however, will allow you to plug in your D-Rack into both your main console and a secondary console. The main console controls all the gains, as well as outputs on the rack, whilst the secondary console acts as a ‘receive only’ module for the inputs. This rack sharing setup is perfect for operating a Front of House and Monitors configuration. DiGiCo’s Gain Tracking system can also be activated when required.
The handy SPLIT MADI switch allows you to decide if you want to split a D-Rack or one of DiGiCo’s MADI based racks. While the D-Rack CAT5 rack connection on a console is usually limited to 32 inputs and 16 outputs, the Little Red Box allows a full 56 I/O to be used when a MADI rack is connected; a great way of expanding the I/O capabilities of the CAT5 port on your SD9, SD11 or S-Series console.
Audio over IP is becoming more and more sought after, due to the fact that it works over a standard IP network and can be sent over pre-installed infrastructure. Developed by Audinate in 2006, Dante provides uncompressed, low latency, multi-channel digital audio over IP and is a popular choice of protocol.
DiGiCo offer a Dante interface that allows 64 channels in and 64 channels out at 48kHz, and 32 channels in and out at 96kHz. S21 : Overview
DiGiCo’s world-renowned innovation, deep feature-set and flagship audio quality of our high-end digital consoles is within reach of everyone. How? Meet the S21 – a world-class DiGiCo mixing console at an astonishing price.
Step up to the S21’s worksurface, complete with dual P-CAP multi-touch screens, 48 flexi-channels, the equivalent of 46 buses and benchmark 96kHz performance, and this console’s heritage is clear – the S21 is every inch a DiGiCo desk. It’s also a revelation in terms of what an introductory digital console can deliver.
Based on the same pioneering design approach as the industry-leading SD series, the S21 boasts the same proprietary audio algorithms plus a new ARM QuadCore RISC processor which runs in harmony with the FPGA core. The result is faster processing with lower power consumption, all packaged in the workflow that the industry’s most respected engineers rely upon – now available to everyone.
Under the Hood
Familiar to the touch and built for the road, the S21 offers mixing without limits. The integration of a high power QuadCore SoC with high bandwidth memory, a low power 484-ball array FPGA and a fourth-generation control SHARC DSP offers unprecedented power today as well as the potential for a future processing upgrade path. The compact footprint of the S21 has no relationship to the scale of processing power going on under the polycarbonate worksurface.
The two touchscreens each provide 10 channel strips, giving not only clear visual feedback and control of 20 simultaneous channels for a single user, but also the possibility when mixing large shows for more than one operator to take advantage of the newly designed drag, swipe and drop feature that simplifies custom fader layouts.
Visual feedback is further reinforced by the HTL (Hidden Till Lit) functionality of the encoder rings, while parameters currently not in use are automatically greyed out, always drawing your attention to the right controls.
The dual screen concept aims to aid the new user learning curve and remove distractions by not only giving you more channels to view at any one time, but also allowing one screen to be used as a setup or master whilst the other is utilised for operation. Both touchscreens are responsive to EQ shaping, with fine-tuning available via the tactile and intuitive rotary encoders.
Altering the Channel Bank layout, and mixing and matching any channel, aux, group, control group, or matrix within a bank, is easily accomplished by drag and drop at the touch of a screen.

DiGiCo I/O enters the next generation
With support for up to 192kHz high resolution analogue I/O converters plus a comprehensive range of digital formats, it’s no wonder that the SD-Rack is accepted as the finest I/O rack available. From MADI to AES/EBU, Dante, AES-42, ADAT, or Aviom, the SD-Rack has it all.
Based on the same Stealth FPGA technology as the world-renowned SD-Range of consoles, the SD-Rack can run on the optical loop at 96KHz, while providing a down-sampled 48KHz feed from one of the MADI output streams; ideal for a broadcast truck split. The result is industry-leading A/D conversion complete with DiGiCo’s famous Gain Tracking™, meaning all consoles benefit from +/-40dB of digital gain.
Once a user has set the gain on each channel, every console on the loop can Gain Track their own mixes, and if any tweaking of analogue gain settings is required then each Gain Tracked channel will automatically compensate to ensure the mix remains the same. Best of all, should clipping occur, any of the consoles on the loop can take control of an analogue gain and make the necessary adjustments without affecting anyone else’s mix.
The SD-Rack’s 14 slots give you up to 56 inputs and 56 outputs, and users can choose whether to include the Optocore optical fibre connectivity or connect the SD-Rack to the console using MADI. When running at 48kHz, the two MADI ins and outs provide 56 fully redundant input and output channels via duplicate connections. When running at 96kHz, the SD-Rack delivers a full complement of 56 channels of MADI across the dual MADI ports.
Lastly, for ease of use the SD-Rack offers hot swappable interface cards with are automatically identified and configured, plus a top-mounted, hot swappable power supply.
No matter the size of the rack you choose, up to 14 DiGiCo I/O racks can run on a single optical loop, while as many as 28 can be accommodated on a dual loop system. This, coupled with the ability for any of the five consoles that can sit on one optical loop to receive all inputs and individually address output slots on any rack, gives the engineer or system designer unprecedented versatility.

Although the Chimp 300.G2 has extended universe, fixture and memory capacity, it remains compatible with the Chimp 100.G2. Software, features, effects and possibilities are exactly the same. Programmed and saved shows on either Chimp unit are interchangeable and will run smoothly accordingly. This feature alone adds a new dimension to the compatibility of the various Chimp units.
To name a few of the versatile features each Chimp possesses: every Chimp unit is equipped with the extensive AtlaBase fixture library, giving access to more than 16.000 different fixtures. With every free Chimp software upgrade the AtlaBase library is updated automatically. The Effects Engine can be applied to any available fixture-attribute easily. This helps you to shape the show according to your creativity. You can use Magic Sheets with which you can visualize your entire setup in 2D. Always get the right colour with an accurate colour picker, RGB / CMY Control or from the built-in Lee, Rosco and Apollo filter libraries.
The next stage Chimp controllers provide all the tools necessary to create the perfect show. All you need to do is, is to put these tools to good use. The Infinity Chimp G2 series is available in setups from single units to complete tourpacks:
· 55004 Chimp 100.G2 single unit
· 55004SET01 Chimp 100.G2 Tourpack incl. touchscreen and flightcase
· 55031 Chimp 100.G2 & Wing Tourpack incl. 2 touchscreens, Banana Wing and flightcase
· 55014 Chimp 300.G2 single unit
· 55014SET01 Chimp 300.G2 Tourpack incl. flightcase

The Infinity Chimp 300.G2 light controller with integrated 22” touchscreen delivers all the tools you need to create a lightshow within minutes. With the Chimp 300.G2 you have access to four universes with unlimited patchable fixtures. It has been engineered with one thing in mind: user convenience. It is the perfect controller for beginners and even more so for advanced users.
You can connect an additional external touchscreen to the Chimp 300.G2. Use personalised colours in the GUI, add Magic sheets to visualise your show in 2D and put the extensive Atlabase to good use. The Atlabase fixture file offers more than 16.000 fixtures to choose from. But in case your specific fixture is missing, you can add this to your setup via the built-in Fixture Builder. Add effects, movements, colour changes and more by using the Effects Engine. Choose your desired colour out of the Filter libraries from Lee, Rosco or Apollo. The integrated Wireless DMX module by Wireless Solutions enhances the flexibility of the system. With each software version new features are added to the Chimp and the Atlabase fixture library is updated

The mechanical and acoustical design enables flown vertical arrays of up to twenty four loudspeakers. It can be used in columns of purely V12 loudspeakers or combined with V8s and / or with V-SUBs. The cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill backed by an acoustically transparent foam. Each side panel incorporates a handle, while two additional recessed grips are provided at the rear bottom of the cabinet.

Product description
The J8 is a 3-way design housing 2 x 12″ LF drivers, one hornloaded 10″ MF driver and two 1.4″ exit HF compression drivers with 3″ voicecoils mounted to a dedicated waveshaping device. The mechanical and acoustical design enables flown vertical columns of up to 24 loudspeakers to be suspended using vertical splay angles between them of 0° to 7° with a 1° resolution. The cylindrical wave segments produced couple coherently in the vertical plane. Due to the dipolar arrangement of the neodymium LF drivers the exceptional 80° horizontal constant directivity dispersion control is nominally maintained down to 250 Hz. The J8 is acoustically and mechanically compatible with the J12 loudspeaker. It can be used in columns of purely J8 loudspeakers or combined with J12s and / or with J-SUBs. The J8 cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish. B8 subwoofer
Subwoofers
High performance ultra compact subwoofer
- Components 2 x 6.5″
- Dispersion omnidirectional
- SPL max 122 dB
- Weight 18 kg / 39 lb
Product description
The B8-SUB is an ultra compact subwoofer that pairs with the established d&b xC, xS and E-Series loudspeakers. The B8 features two 6.5” drivers housed within a bass-reflex cabinet design. Its low height makes it an ideal solution for small scale mobile applications that require an extended low frequency response while still achieving high Sound Pressure Levels. The frequency response extends from 43 Hz to 170 Hz. When operating in 100 Hz mode, the upper operating frequency of the subwoofer is reduced from 170 Hz to 125 Hz.
The B8-SUB can be flown either horizontally or vertically. The rear of the cabinet incorporates a handle and an M20 threaded flange in the top panel that accepts the d&b Z5013 Loudspeaker stand for the deployment of applicable d&b full range cabinets with a maximum top load of 8 kg (17.6 lb). Two M8 threaded inserts are incorporated, one on each side panel to allow the attachment of a dedicated flying bracket.
The enclosure is constructed from marine plywood with an impact resistant black paint finish. The front of the cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill backed by an acoustically transparent foam. The cabinet is fitted with NLT4 F/M connectors.
V subwoofer
Subwoofers
High performance flyable cardioid subwoofer
- Components 18″/12″
- Dispersion Cardioid
- SPLmax 137 dB
- Weight 64 kg / 141 lb
Product description
The V-SUB is an actively driven high performance cardioid subwoofer powered by a single amplifier channel. The V-SUB features integrated rigging equipment, and shares the same acoustical and visual design as the V-GSUB, which is intended for ground stacked applications only. It houses two long excursion neodymium drivers, an 18″ driver in a bass-reflex design facing to the front and a 12″ driver in a two chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear. The cardioid dispersion pattern resulting from this approach avoids unwanted energy behind the system that reduces the reverberant field at low frequencies and provides the greatest accuracy of low frequency reproduction.
The V subwoofer can be used to supplement V8 and V12 loudspeakers in various combinations, ground stacked or flown, either integrated on top of a V8 / V12 array or as a separate column.
The V-SUB cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill backed by an acoustically transparent foam. Each side panel incorporates two handles, whilst the top panel has an M20 high stand flange inserted.

4-Point Gamma Correction
The newly added 4 points Gamma Correct function enables adjustment of
bright/dark part independently. Enhances images to have a more film-like color.
Image Quality
Carefully optimized algorithm of the built-in scaler has resulted in further improvements in the the image quality of the VC. Highly accurate processing is achieved in all types of conversion – up, down and cross conversion.
You can select the SDI (HD/SD) output to be pre-processor or post-processor.
This enables a monitor output or split output capability.
Copy Protection on i.LINK output
You can add CGMS-D (Copy Generation Management System – Digital) to the output signal. This enables limitation to copy of digital content.
You can now remotely control parameter setup of the VC from external devices, like a PC, via RS-422A Remote Terminal. This can be also used for parameter data backup.
User Presets
Parameters like input signal, conversion or processing can be saved to an internal memory. Up to 3 presets can be saved and enables convenient recall.
Auto format detection and simultaneous output from multiple terminals
The VC 300HD/VC-200HD features automatic detection of the input source and simultaneous output of the converted signal to multiple terminals such as SDI, IEEE 1394, DVI and analog component. This enables the recording or display of a single source to multiple recording devices or displays.
Bi-directional conversion and scaling
Bi-directional conversion of different formats including 59.94p, 50i, etc. are possible with the VC Series. Multiple resolutions like 480i/p,720p or 1080i can be input/output along with NTSC/PAL conversion.
Gen lock with external devices
The input and output to and from the VC series can be gen-locked with external devices. The VC supports variety of sync signals including analog BB, Bi-level (SD) or Tri-level (HD). The VC Series’ built-in frame synchronizer helps to lock signals from consumer products or computers.
Time code and embedded audio
When performing HD-SDI/SDI <> HDV/DV conversion, the VC Series can pass the original time code and audio stream signals. The audio embedded in the HD-SDI or SDI signal can be separated and sent from the analog outputs. The VC Series can embed audio from the analog inputs to the
HD-SDI/SDI or HDV/DV signal.
Audio Delay Function
Audio can be precisely delayed by milliseconds or frames to compensate for the video delay caused by frame synchronizing or conversion processing. The Audio Delay function makes the perfect “lip sync” possible.
