Digital Mixing Consoles

Analogue or Digital - that is the question?

For simple, low channel count, static set-ups at a low cost, an analogue console will do the job. Once things get more complex the advantages of digital negate analogue consoles today.  The advantages negate the need for outboard processing (Graphic EQs / FX Racks / Compressors / Noise Gates etc) as this processing power is inbuilt in the unit.

We have dedicated specialist support for Digital consoles ranging from education and training to full operator engineering.

We like Roland consoles because they sound good, they are easy to use without layers of menu options and they are rugged, reliable and have never let us down.

The M-300 is a 19" small format console with 16 Faders plus Master.  It has a mixing engine for up to 32 channels (2 layers of 16) plus all the professional features you'd expect;

4 x FX Rack Slots (any can also be a 31-Band GEQ)
4 x GEQ 31-Band Graphic EQs (on Faders)
8 x AUX Busses
4 x MATRIX Busses
4 x DCAs
4-Band Parametric PEQ on each Input Channel
Compressor & Gate on each Input Channel
8-Band Parametric PEQ on each Output

The M-480 is still a relatively small format with 24 faders plus Master.  It has a mixing engine for up to 48 channels (2 layers of 24) plus all the professional features you'd expect;

6 x FX Rack Slots (any can also be a 31-Band GEQ)
12 x GEQ 31-Band Graphic EQs (on Faders)
16 x AUX Busses
8 x MATRIX Busses
24 x DCAs

The M-5000C is the latest in state-of-the-art live mixing technology giving unique power in a small format.  Instead of prescribing the number of inputs and outputs busses etc., the M-5000C architecture is dynamically flexible offering up to 128 DSP Audio Paths user configurable to any combination of Input, Output, Aux Buss, Sub-Group, Mix-Minus Buss, Matrix Buss etc... Changes to the configuration are dynamically applied without interrupting the audio path or requiring any sort of re-boot so it makes this an ideal console for applications where there is a lot going on at short notice, festivals and multi-act live events.  See the detailed specification for more information.
